Research resources in development
Several current research lines are actively being developed into dedicated project pages and open scientific resources. Detailed descriptions, publications, figures, methods, datasets, and reproducible materials will be added as the corresponding studies mature and become ready for public release.
The sections below provide a brief indication of the research areas currently being prepared for expansion on this site.
Soil carbon modelling
Current work investigates how alternative representations of soil structure affect the simulation of heterotrophic respiration and carbon dynamics in boreal forest soils.
Project page and supporting resources are in preparation. Further material will be added as the manuscript and associated methods progress toward publication.
Satellite–ground evaluation
This research evaluates satellite-derived environmental observations against ground-based measurements, with an initial focus on surface radiation over Finland and the conditions under which apparently small average errors can conceal more systematic behaviour.
Detailed project information is being prepared. Results, methodological information, and publication links will be added as the work becomes publicly available.
Surface radiation reconstruction
This developing research line explores the reconstruction of spatially continuous surface radiation fields by combining satellite observations, reanalysis information, and ground measurements.
Methods and project resources are under development. Documentation and reproducible resources will be incorporated as the framework matures.
